Thermoplastic Striping Services
Serving the San Francisco Bay Area for over 15 years
Thermoplastic striping is an excellent choice for pavement markings and upgrades. The key advantages of this service are cost-efficiency and durability, as thermoplastic is a much longer-lasting striping solution than standard paint striping. Tri-Valley is known for excellence as a thermoplastic striping contractor, so if you need thermoplastic pavement markings, you have come to the right place.
Thermoplastic Applications
Tri-Valley provides thermoplastic striping services for a wide variety of applications. As a leading thermoplastic contractor, Tri-Valley can assist you with many projects that may include:
- Traffic Striping
- Crosswalks
- Pavement Markings
- Reflector placement
- Roadway Signage
Why Is Thermoplastic Work Specialized?
Thermoplastic is distributed as a pelletized plastic medium and must be melted at 400 degrees before being applied in a molten form to your pavement. This requires specialized equipment capable of providing continuous heat during the application process. At Tri-Valley, we have a variety of equipment to maintain the required 400-degree temperature while addressing the many application needs on pavement projects.
To provide these capabilities, Tri-Valley has continuously advanced its thermoplastic equipment inventory. Initially starting with Graco Promelt handliners, Tri-Valley has expanded its capabilities by adding 2000 lb MRL ThermoPro Pre-Melting Kettles, MRL Mini-Mac self-propelled ribbon thermoplastic applicators, and Graco Thermolazer 200TC maneuverable handliners. This variety of equipment allows Tri-Valley to precisely address the various requirements of a thermoplastic project.
Our Thermoplastic Striping Services Set Us Apart
As helpful as thermoplastic striping is, many striping companies of our size cannot provide this service. This is because thermoplastic services tend to require a more significant investment, and as a result, many companies do not maintain the expensive and labor-intensive equipment.
Tri-Valley, on the other hand, spares no expense when it comes to meeting customer needs. We set ourselves apart from the competition by offering thermoplastic abilities that will leave your pavement upgrades highly visible for years.
The Thermoplastic Removal Process
Another critical factor to note when considering thermoplastic striping projects is thermoplastic removal. Because the material is more durable than paint, it is consequently more difficult to remove later. Among our array of services, Tri-Valley offers thermoplastic removal in addition to our striping services, using Schibeci Polyplaner rotary grinding equipment to allow a surface to be cleanly prepared for slurry seal or rearrangement of existing markings.
