Why Choose Tri-Valley Striping?

Initially, Tri-Valley Striping, founded by Landy Rath in 2004, concentrated on providing project analysis and supervisory support services to other striping companies. But, in 2008, Tri-Valley Striping began providing parking lot maintenance services directly to paving and property management companies. Since then, we’ve expanded to thermoplastic road work and completed thousands of lots, primarily in the greater Bay Area, Oregon, and Washington. Our expertise covers parking lots with as few as five spaces up to large mall lots with over 2000 spaces.

Projects we have worked on include:

  • Office center parking lots
  • Industrial complexes
  • Parking structures
  • Shopping mall lots
  • Strip mall lots
  • Schoolyards
  • Warehouse floors

A Reputation for Quality

Since 2004, Tri-Valley Striping has gained a reputation for quality work and customer service. The company’s continual focus on the careful assessment of our work, thorough knowledge of traffic flow and regulations, understanding of customer needs and constraints, responsiveness to scheduling and deadlines, and quality work with attention to detail led to rapid growth in business. A detailed understanding of our customers’ needs enabled Landy Rath to broaden Tri-Valley’s customer base through referrals and recommendations.

Continual Growth

Starting with four customers in 2008, Tri-Valley Striping now has more than 80 customers from paving and property management firms, general contractors, and municipal maintenance departments. In 2011, Tri-Valley received a Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) certification and is currently completing the Underutilized Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (UDBE) certification. These certifications will increase opportunities for Tri-Valley’s growth with general contractors and public works projects.

Working with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)

Landy’s extensive knowledge of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) concerning vehicular traffic areas is crucial to Tri-Valley’s recent growth. This work requires adherence to federal and state guidelines while complying with local inspectors’ interpretations. Through extensive research and work with various municipal inspection departments, Landy has become an expert on ADA requirements, design, and implementation. ADA installations have become a Tri-Valley specialty and an essential profitable revenue source. For example, in late 2011, Tri-Valley completed a $143,000 ADA installation for a property management firm in San Jose.
